so when we face a massive defecit, we do not cut funding to education.

a straight up cut to education funding should be punishable by immediate impeachment.

when money needs to be saved, schools can be re-evaluated and streamlined of all failing programs, which should result in saving some money. however, when the fed starts feeding money back, we re-vamp and re-instate the old programs into a workign way.

that is the only time funding to education should be lowered.

when corporations are bitching about their rights I'll give them rights. I'll treat them as a human and instate their gross income into a tiered system that is the same used as people.

that is only for major-established billion-dollar industries.

for other small business, they will be given a temporary tax break that would establish their position and installation of a unit into the downtown Detroit area, because, let's be honest, there's hardly dick to do down there for the average person.

so instead of blind welfare programs, instate a working-program instead.

all unemployed recepients of welfare that are able need to be put in a construction company that starts off as a class teaching adults how to properly work in the construction business, and to stay in the program these people all need to test clean for drugs. if they fail they would be put in many newly-created rehab centers ran by all unemployed doctors and really anyone who would be necessary to run a home.

after they have learned, they will be put to work tearing down all abandoned buildings, because an empty lot looks a whole lot better than a dilapted 1920's home.

on the blocks and blocks of empty lots will be heavily secured by a huge overhaul of hired police officers and a finite shopping district needs to be established.

right around the shopping district needs to be a similiar thing, but for a music district a la Austin, Texas. an entire city-block that are assorted bars, music clubs, etc.

this would appeal to all new sorts of people, also with an installation/remodling of the Grande Ballroom, which attracted 4-5,000 attendees 3 times a week. there needs to be an established non-big-time but larger underground venue for relatively big bands to come through that isn't the Fox Theater.

to run these places would be the rest of the unemployed people who would go through a similiar strand of trade-type schools to establish people who would work the stores, run the bars, wait and waitress at the restaurants, etc.
